This picture is featured on the Gorsachius melanolophus, surrounded by the light and hues of Luna Pond, standing in the universe, meditating. This is a symbolism of all the blessed NTU members, nourished in this wonderful campus, thinking about their missions of lives.

• The bird, Gorsachius melanolophus, is an endearing creature in NTU, well-known and loved for its signature awkward posture and movements.
• Luna Pond is one of NTU’s 12 Best Scenery, surrounded by lawns. A rare natural view located in the downtown area.

The fourth President of NTU, President Fu Ssu-nien, once exhorted the university community with the words of ‘We dedicate this university to the Universal Spirit,’ which indicates that the pursuit of eternal and infinite truths has remained NTU’s guiding spirit ever since.
